NBC’s Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Kidnapped From Netflix

Talk about a great promotion for some amazing new fall series. NBC has partnered with Netflix and is offering subscribers a chance to see the premiere eps of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Kidnapped, two of our three fave new series from the peacock net.T o get the DVD, all you need to do is add both shows to your Netflix cue, and it will be shipped out.

Studio 60 features an ensemble cast including Bradley Whitford (The West Wing), Matthew Perry (Friends), Amanda Peet (Jack and Jill) and Steven Weber (Wings) in a behind the scenes look at the production of a Saturday Night Live-esque sketch series called Studio 60. Like SNL, Studio 60 features a celebrity host and musical guest. In the pilot, at least, the BIG celebrity host is written into the storyline.

Created by Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlamme, the pair who brought The West Wing to NBC, the show’s tone is much like their inside look at the White House, but this time in the juicy world of TV production. Mondays at 10p – no premiere date yet.

Kidnapped has the makings of a very addictive series with Jeremy Sisto (Six Feet Under) in the role of an unconventional PI trying to locate the kidnapped child of Timothy Hutton and Dana Delaney. Believe it or not, I’ve already said too much.  Wednesdays at 10p – no premiere date yet.
